1. Talas Agricultural and Economic College (formerly Talas Agricultural College) was opened in 1991 on the basis of the decree of the Cabinet of the Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic ”opening of an agricultural college in Talas” IP 289.
2. Initially, training was conducted in 4 specialties: beekeeping, Technology of milk and dairy products, technology of fur and fur, tobacco technology

In 1992” the specialty “production of fur and fur arrows” was opened.

In 1993, the specialty “Veterinary Medicine” was opened.

“Economics and Accounting ” in 1994

“Electrification and automation of agriculture ” in 1996

“Taxes and taxation” in 1997

“Land management” in 2000

In 2005, the specialty “Finance” was opened.

3. In 1997 the college became a part of the Kyrgyz Agrarian Academy as the Talas Agricultural College. In 1998, a branch of the Kyrgyz Agrarian Academy for distance Learning was opened on the basis of the technical school.
4. On the basis of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 2000, 25, 189 technical school became a part of Talas State University.
5. On the basis of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated December 29, 2006, 646 technical school seceded from Talas State University and received the status of Talas Agricultural College.
6. On the basis of Order 575/1 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, issued on May 2009, 21, the college was renamed the Talas Agricultural and Economic College.
